Arctic Securities ASA and Nor-Ocean Offshore AS join forces

The Norwegian Investment bank, Arctic Securities, joins forces with and buys a stake in the leading offshore shipbroking and consultancy company Nor-Ocean Offshore.

Through the investment in Nor-Ocean Offshore, we further strengthen our position in the oil and offshore sector, says Mads H. Syversen, CEO of Arctic Securities.

Nor-Ocean Offshore was established in 1996 by Pål Nordgreen. Nordgreen has 30 years of experience from the offshore industry where he has a particularly strongtrack record from dealing with the Brazilian market. Nor-Ocean Offshore enjoys long lasting close relationships with several of the major oil companies, ship and rig owners, ship yards and technical design companies influential in the world wide offshore oil and gas industry. The company's principal office is in Oslo, with representation in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil and with strategic partnerships in Mexico and other areas of the world.
